Training Camp ended, Akmal replaced by Sarfaraz in Zimbabwe Tour.

The tour of Zimbabwe is going to be commenced from next week for which The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Umar Akmal will be replaced by Wicket Keeper Sarfraz Ahmed due to medically unfit. However, Sarfraz was dropped after a disappointing tour of South Africa earlier this year.

National selection committee has also proposed Sarfraz Ahmed as Akmal’s replacement for Pakistan one-day and T20 squads for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.

Umar Akmal will undergo complete medical examination to reassess the level of his fitness.

Pakistan will play two Twenty20, three one-day and two Tests matches on the tour to Zimbabwe, with the first Twenty20 on August 23, 2013 with the following squad.
