India won match against Pakistan

India needs 157 runs to win against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy match. Earlier Pakistan was reduced to all out for 165, Asad Shafiq was the highest scorer with 41 runs to his credit. B Kumar was the most successful bowler taking 2 wickets for 19 runs in 8 overs.

India won the toss and elected to field. The match was reduced to 37 overs due to rain. Indian target was calculated using Douglas Lewis method.

Latest update: Due to further rain the match is reduced to 22 overs. In 10 overs India now needs just 39 runs to win the match.

Latest update: India won  the match by 8 wickets in 19.1 overs. This increases India’s chances to qualify for the Semi-final.

B Kumar was judged man of the match. Former Captain Misbahul Haq blamed the failure of  batsman for Pakistan’s loss in the tournament.
