Sindh, Punjab and KPK budgets will be announced on Monday

It is expected that Sindh, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial governments will announce their budgets on Monday June 17th.

According to reports Sindh government will increase salaries of government employees by 15%. Total size of the Sindh budget is around 1 trillion 2o billion rupees. The budget projects Rs. 20 billion deficit.  Non development expenditure is Rs. 356 billion. Law & order is allocated Rs. 50 billion. Development has been allocated Rs. 250 billion. It is also expected that education and health sectors will get higher allocation. Larkana, Sukkur and Mirpur Khas gets Rs. 1 billion each for their development. 200 new buses will be bought to improve public transport in Karachi.

In KPK province the government is planning to increase government salaries by 15% while 8% increase is expected in the budget allocation for education and health sectors. Rs. 83 billion are allocated to development fund.

In Punjab province 10% increase in government salaries is expected. Increased spending are expected for Danish school system and infrastructure development. Minimum salary of labor is fixed at Rs. 10000 per month. Rs. 10 billion are allocated for energy resource development.
