Saad Rafique wows to turn around Pakistan Railways

Newly appointed Minister of Railways Saad Rafique has said that he is confident he will turn around railways in a short time. Elaborating his turn around priorities he said that no new routes will be added to the current rooster. Freight hauling will be the priority of the railway as it can earn the much needed revenue from it as well as reduce traffic on main highways. It will also be fuel efficient for the country to use trains for freight thereby saving considerable amount of foreign exchange.

He visited Lahore railway station and spoke to the staff there to understand their views. Business analysts have highlighted some questionable deals signed by the former Ministers that has cost exchequer 100s of billion of rupees.
