Punjab, Sindh and KPK budget details


Sindh government has started releasing the key figures of their budget to be presented today in the assembly:

Rs. 230 billion for development expenditure

Rs. 336 billion for non-developmental expenses

CM House expenses Rs. 600 million

Health Rs. 49 billion

Education Rs. 110 billion

Kissan Tractor Scheme Rs. 300 million

Rs. 1oo billion for the development of circular Railway and Thar coal projects.

Rs. 1 billion each for the development of Sukkur, Khairpur, and Mirpur Khas


Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government also announced some key figures of their budget proposal which will be presented today in the assembly:

15% increase in salaries of provincial government employees and 10% increase in pension.

Education will get Rs. 13 billion

Health will be Rs. 8 billion

Rs. 1 billion is allocated for the development of provincial capital Peshawar while Rs. 500 million is allocated for the improvement of parks and recreational facilities.

Total development budget is 1 trillion, 180 million rupees which also include Rs. 35 billion of foreign investment.

It is also expected that schedule for local bodies elections will also be announced during the budget speech. No development funds will be given to MPAs. Four teaching hospitals will be converted into model hospitals.


Punjab government announced proposal to increase salaries of government employees by 10%, continue investment in Danish School Systems and introduce small enterprise loans.
