Left arm spinner Hasan Raza banned by PCB for substance abuse

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) banned left arm spinner Hasan Raza for two years. There were traces of drug abuse found in his blood samples taken during a domestic match in January. These blood samples were sent to a specialist laboratory in India which confirmed presence of banned substance. PCB did not provide any official explanation about the nature of substance. But Pakistani media has reported that Hasan was banned for use of cocaine.

Hasan Raza has played in one one-day international claiming 1 wicket while claimed 10 wickets in T20 matches. Hasan cannot participate in any cricket match played at domestic, regional or international level.
